Rooted and Rising (Reiki Training)
Rooted and Rising is a journey that guides students inward before they rise outward.
This space is rooted in presence, the body’s wisdom, intuitive connection, and teaches energy as something that is lived and not performed.
Unlike traditional Reiki trainings that focus on technique, symbols, and serving others,
Rooted and Rising begins with Self.
Through embodiment & intuitive awareness,
students learn to feel their own energy
and develop a relationship with their inner healer first.
From this foundation, students rise into offering their gifts with clarity & overflow — not depletion.
And as they grow, they become the living channel of their unique Spirit…
Stepping into mastery not through force,
but through presence, integrity, and deep inner connection.
Rooted and Rising is for those who want to walk a spiritual path in a way that honors the body, the heart, and the Spirit.
This is a remembrance.
A rising.
And sacred becoming.
Level 1: The Remembering (Self Level)
This is the beginning — the foundation and the root of this lineage, and a sacred return to Self.
Students learn how to connect deeply with their body, feel subtle energy without forcing or performing, and through grounding, breathwork, intuitive training, and embodiment practices, you’ll learn how your energy speaks to you — and how to nurture it with compassion. Level 1 emphasizes self-healing as the core of all future work. You will learn to receive energy, support your own emotional and energetic needs, and build the inner foundation required to one day hold space for others.
You’ll leave this level with a renewed sense of trust in yourself and your intuition, a deeper connection to Spirit within you, and daily practices that support your inner healing work.
Level 2: The Rising (Service Level)
Level 2 builds upon the foundation you cultivated in The Remembering. Here, students learn how to hold space for others without losing themselves, staying rooted in their body while offering energy outward. This level deepens intuitive sensitivity, refines energetic awareness, and teaches how to serve from overflow rather than depletion.
Students learn to read subtle energetic shifts, offer safe and grounded sessions, and maintain clear energetic boundaries rooted in self-awareness. Through presence-based techniques, intuitive development, and practices that teach you how to rise without absorbing or merging, you’ll discover what it means to be a steady, attuned, and confident practitioner.
While Level 1 centers on self-healing, Level 2 guides you into relational healing — supporting others while remaining anchored, sovereign, and connected to your own energy.
You’ll leave this level with a deeper trust in your ability to support others, expanded intuitive tools, and the confidence to offer sessions that are ethical, grounded, and aligned with your unique medicine.
Level 3: The Becoming (Spirit Level)
Level 3 is for students ready to deepen their relationship with Spirit and step into the fullest expression of their healing work. This level is not about perfection, but presence — about refining your intuitive gifts, strengthening your spiritual connection, and becoming the healer your soul came here to be.
Here, students refine their unique healing style, expand their intuitive channels, and cultivate the confidence to guide others at a deeper level. This level introduces advanced energetic techniques, Spirit-led facilitation skills, and the foundations of teaching and attuning others (for those who feel called).
Level 3 is about Becoming — becoming the guide you once needed, becoming more rooted in your purpose, and becoming attuned to the truth that healing is a lived experience, not a performance.
This level emphasizes leadership through embodiment: walking your path with clarity, integrity, and spaciousness. Students learn not only how to offer deeper sessions, but how to hold group spaces, lead ceremonies, and transmit healing through presence alone.
You’ll leave this level with a refined sense of who you are as a healer, a deeper relationship with Spirit, and the tools to offer this lineage through your own authentic voice.
Rooted and Rising Origin
My Reiki journey began in the traditional Usui lineage.
At the time, it felt like I was stepping through a doorway that would allow me to help others more deeply.
I was already offering sound healings, and Reiki felt like the next step toward serving, supporting, and holding space.
At that stage of my life, everything in me wanted to heal others.
So I moved quickly—taking all three levels within a month—excited to be certified and ready to serve.
There was a spark, a sense of purpose, and a desire to give.
And while the experience fulfilled me, something deeper went unspoken…
I was learning how to channel it,
but not how to anchor into myself first.
Later, when I began teaching Reiki to friends, another truth rose inside me:
I was passing on something I hadn’t yet fully integrated within myself.
My students were devoted and committed, and I loved holding space for them—yet inside, I felt the quiet ache that something was missing.
Last year, during a rough patch, a friend encouraged me to start sending Reiki to myself—to let it support me the way I had offered it to others.
She shared her own morning self-practice and reminded me that I could find a rhythm that worked for me.
In that moment, something clicked: I had been taught how to give Reiki to others, but I had never been taught how to integrate it into my own body or daily life.
For her, it was natural—yet for me, it was unfamiliar.
I wasn’t lacking knowledge —
I was lacking embodiment.
I realized I couldn’t keep teaching Reiki the way I had learned it—rushed, compacted, and focused on technique.
There wasn’t enough space for self-healing or true integration.
I didn’t want to pass on knowledge without helping people connect to themselves.
And I no longer resonated with a system that centered on “doing for others” over inward connection.
And so, I began embracing a whole new way of teaching.
A way rooted in remembering what energy asks
of us.
Remembering what presence feels like.
Remembering what I wish I had been given.
This is when Rooted and Rising began taking shape.
It’s a way of teaching that:
- honors the body,
- unfolds slowly,
- comes from overflow, not depletion,
- begins with the self,
- and rises from within.
Rooted and Rising is the beginning
of my lineage.
One that honors traditional Reiki yet grows in a new direction.
One grounded in embodiment, remembrance, and gentle becoming.
A lineage where nothing is rushed, but lived.
Where integration is not optional, but sacred.
Where intuition is not secondary, but foundational.
Where we learn to hold ourselves before we hold others.
Where healing is not performed—
It is remembered, rooted, and embodied.
This lineage emerged from my own ashes—
from the parts of my journey that were overlooked, rushed, and bypassed.
From the longing I carried to feel, to integrate, to remember myself first.
From the quiet truth that healing is not something we “do” — It’s something we become.
